Weekend round-up

Bettws claimed another victory on Saturday which keeps them on course for the league title as they remain unbeaten in the league, 5-0 winners against Trefonen. Caersws lead the chase with a comfortable 5-1 win against Guilsfield. Llangedwyn and Llanfyllin hit the goal trail with an 8-3 victory propelling llanfyllin into 4th on goal difference. Abermule and Llanfair ended 2-2 in dramatic fashion with 2 goals in added time while the local derby between Llanfechain and Llanrhaeadr ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

Division two title race remains close with Morda closing the gap on Llanymynech to 1 point with a 2-0 win against Welshpool Town. Llanymynech progress to the Consolation cup semi Final, beating Kerry 3-2. Elsewhere, Forden prevailed 2-1 against Newtown Wanderers while Maesyrhandi and Berriew drew 1-1.
