Bank holiday Monday results

Llanfyllin on the march

Llanfyllin recorded a 2-0 victory over Caersws Reserves on Monday to give them the upper hand in the race for second place. Waterloo still have a game in hand and a slightly better goal difference but even with the season drawing to a close, all three clubs have it all to play for.

There is no less drama at the bottom with Llanfechain earning a vital 3 points against champions Bettws. Trefonen now need to beat Caersws reserves on Thursday night and hope that Llanfechain lose their final match, but having been the 1st team to defeat Bettws this season in the league, Llanfechain are in pole position to keep their division one status.
