Wanderers win derby day honours

Newtown Wanderers won the local derby with Kerry 6-2 thanks to goals from Rob Harvey (4) and Neil Lloyd-Jones (2) in the Mitsubishi League Diviaion
Mark Green and Ryan Andrew replied for the villagers.

Guilsfield Reserves took over at the top of the Amateur League's first division with a convincing 7-2 win at Llanfechain with leaders Bettws on cup duty.Luke Francis (3), Rob McGill (2) and Phil Turnbull (2) were on target for the Guils with Nigel Jones and Rob Edwards replying.

Lewis Sim hit a fine hat-trick as Abermule won 3-1 at Llanrhaeadr with Mike Roberts on target for the home side. Caersws won a five goal thriller against Llanfair 3-2.

Welshpool Reserves won 2-1 at Llansantffraid in the second division thanks to goals from Chris Lewis and Jake Evans. Nathan Buckley responded. Waterloo Colts went down 5-3 at Llanymynech.
