Friday night saw another division 2 side defeat their division 1 rivals with Berriew Reserves booking a Village Cup final spot beating Meifod 2-1. They await the winners of Bettws v Caersws Reserves.

The division 1 relegation battle continues with Llangedwyn picking up a valuable 3 points against Llanfechain, running out 5-3 winners. Trefonen also gave themselves a lifeline with a 2-1 victory at Llanrhaeadr Reserves.

Morda's 4-0 win over Maesyrhandir coupled with Llanymynech's 2-1 defeat at Forden see's the boarder club stretch their lead over local rivals and on the brink of Division 1 promotion. Elsewhere, Welshpool Town Reserves won the Town battle, beating Waterloo Colts 4-0
