Abermule Reserves lead the goal trail in mid week with a 7-0 win over relegated Llangedwyn. Llanfair reserves followed the example impressively beating Guilsfield reserves 5-1. Meifod lost at home 3-2 against the form team Llanfyllin while champions elect Bettws threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Waterloo Reserves.

The division 2 promotion race saw a dramatic twist with Kerry Reserves losing 3-1 to Forden United. However, Llanymynech were unable to take advantage when Welshpool Town Reserves failed to appear for their clash. Morda continued their fine season with a 2-0 against Waterloo Clots.
